MARTY HAMILTON

Age: 43

Family: Never been married and don't have any children (except some of my business associates ...LOL!!).—"I have been engaged but just never felt like I had the right match. It will be great to be able to stay home when I do get married and watch our kids grow up."

Highest Education: "I had a fairly brief college career, which included taking calculus and some tough courses and overall I would say it was unsuccessful...I eventually left college because everyone I knew who had achieved wealth had not done so by using what my professors were teaching me. In fact, none of them even went to college. I also became very discouraged because I would see people with master's degrees waiting tables. I think deciding to leave college was one of my best decisions. Once I left, I had no choice but to get out there and make something happen. I couldn't fall back on the 'struggling-student' excuse anymore."

Year Started Business: 1986 with failures and some gaps when I was working for United Airlines until 2004—"I had attempted to make it in a few other businesses before this one, but they didn't amount to much. I was simply getting by, 'treading water' without making much progress."

Type Of Business: "I currently have three 'regular' Internet businesses, a network-marketing business, and a joint venture partnership with another Internet company. It's not as complex as it sounds. My 'regular' Internet businesses are simply Websites (http://www.Globalcashstreamsystems.com/, http://www.cashstreamsystem.com/, and another at the plural version http://www.cashstreamsystems.com/) that sell informational products or provide a service to marketers. I have a marketing business with GGS that has really done well. GGS has totally changed the way I think about marketing...Ever since I became involved with it, I have 'seen the light.' I'm convinced that anyone can succeed with it. In fact, I made some great videos that show exactly how I became successful in GGS." My friend Rob is raking in a small 100K per month and proudly gave 120K last year to Habitat For Humanity charity!!! Way to go Rob!!

Market: "I serve people who want to become successful on the Internet without having to learn all the 'techie stuff.' So, folks who want to succeed online and are willing to just get out there and try something are my ideal clients."

Number Of Employees: A tech support team from Workaholics4hire.com—"These people are great...so if you're ever worried about how you're going to handle customer support, just get in touch with them. They take great care of my customers and I'm really grateful for that."

Best Month (Gross Revenues): $12,000

Hours Worked Per Week During Start-Up: Easily 60+ hours—"Most of it was not needed. I just didn't know what I was doing. If only I knew then what I know now, I could have saved a lot of time and had more fun."

Hours Worked Per Week Now: Depends—"We just launched the new http://www.cashstreamsystem.com/ site, so I'm putting quite a bit of time into that. But once that gets settled down, I'll try to resume my 30-hour work week."

Favorite Business Magazines: Six-Figure Income—"Mainly because they profile companies that are so different from mine and those of my niche." Also, Network Marketing Lifestyles—"In all honesty, I just like to read the ads. Any magazine I read, I focus primarily on the ads. Strange but true. Above all else, I'm a copywriter, so this is why I'm so obsessed with advertisements over articles."

Favorite Business Books Or Authors: How To Make $4,000 Per Day From Your Kitchen Table While Sitting In Your Underwear – Jeff Paul—"This is my favorite business book, because it introduced me to the power of direct-response marketing. It is an excellent example of how to get people to raise their hands and essentially say, 'Yes! I'm interested in what you're offering, and I'd love to receive ads from you.' The concept Jeff outlines in that little book is the basis with which I operate all of my businesses." Also, My Life In Advertising – Claude Hopkins—"I love it because Mr. Hopkins gives a step-by-step formula for creating powerful ads that make you money." Lastly, Multiple Streams Of Internet Income – Robert Allen—"The five or six hours I spent reading this book and applying the concept he outlines have laid a foundation for financial security that I'm very grateful for."

Relaxes By: Driving his Mercedes E320, hanging out with friends, taking pictures with my Nikon D90, watching sports on TV or going to the gym.

Keeps In Shape By: Riding my hybrid bicycle around the neighborhood, windsurfing in the summer, and going to World Gym—"Now if I could just stop the wrinkles that are starting to show!!!..."

Favorite Part Of The Job: Hearing success stories from his customers—"This is, hands down, one of the greatest experiences that I'm lucky enough to have. When someone writes to me and says something like 'Thanks for sharing your information. Now I know that I don't have to spend the rest of my life in some horrible job,' I feel really good."

Least Favorite Part Of The Job: Telling people "no"—"I get frequent requests from people who want me to call them and consult with them, and I simply can't do it. It's hard to say 'No...I won't call you.' But if I agreed to all of these requests, I'd never sleep. I think I've solved the problem, however. We've started having conference calls with our members who opt in at http://www.cashstreamsystems.com/, and that's going really well."

Companies Admired: "I'm not really familiar with the inner workings of corporate America other than the Airline business so I mainly focus on individual leaders in business. My favorites are Dan Kennedy, Jeff Paul, and Jonathan Mizel. I admire these men because they created enormously profitable businesses that require minimum manpower, expense, and time. I'll take that over stock figures any day."

Favorite Quotes: In your moments of decision, your destiny is shaped. – Tony Robbins; The problem is not that the Ferrari is too expensive...it is that you cannot afford it. – Jim Rohn; You can do anything you want if you put your mind to it and work for it. – E. Raymond Smith

The Person Who Most Influenced His Life: His grandfather, M.E. Pion–"He built a business and life starting from nothing and with no formal education. And he did it by always maintaining a high level of integrity and by making sure the people he did business with were happy. The greatest thing he ever did for me was to set a standard to live up to. I'm still working on it."

Heroes: Ronald Reagan—"He's accomplished more than most people do in generations." Next, Claude Hopkins, for paving the way for all direct-response marketers; and his father, Allen W. Hamilton, for teaching him to live life by his standards and no one else's and teaching me that Andy Griffith dealing with people art—"That was easily one of the most important lessons I've ever learned."

Special Accomplishments: "My greatest achievement was the day I quit my job and said 'I don't have to work for anyone else anymore.' That had always been a goal of mine."

Months Before Achieving A Profit: "I made a profit right from the get-go. It wasn't huge...but it was a profit nonetheless!"

Any Videos Authored: "We've created about 7 videos that show people exactly how I make money on the Internet. People can get them at http://www.cashstreamsystem.com/.
